wash and soak rice for 10 minutes, drain water and keep it aside
in the instant pot set saute mode for 15 minutes and add cooking oil, once it's heated add garam masala powder, chopped onions, 1/2 tsp salt and saute for 1 minute, then add ginger garlic paste and saute for another minute, add mint leaves and saute for 30 secs
add chopped tomatoes, chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt
cook until tomatoes have softened
add all chopped veggies, mix well and add rest of the salt, cook for 2 minutes
add 4 and 1/2 cup water, add biriyani masala powder and chopped cilantro
add drained rice
once the timer is off let it cool for 10 minutes and then release the pressure slowly
hot yummy biriyani is ready and can be served with raita and chips.!!
