in a pan add 1 tsp oil add 1 tsp chilli powder, 2 tsp coriander powder, 1/4 cup coconut and fry for few minutes
add to mixer jar and grind the above ingredients into a thick paste
in a large pan add 2 tbsp coconut oil, once the oil is heated add sliced garlic,sliced ginger, slit green chillies, curry leaves, chopped onion and fry until onions are soft
add sliced tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and mix well
add cooked black channa and mix well
add ground coconut paste
add 1 cup of water and mix well, adjust water, salt as per taste and boil for 5 to 10 minutes on medium flame
turn off the stove and add chopped cilantro. yummy kadalai curry is ready which can be served with puttu!!!!!
