chop veggies, slit green chillies and shred ginger
in a pan add 3 tbsp cooking oil and add mustard, once mustard seeds have sputtered add urad dal, channa dal, green chillies and curry leaves, fry until both dals are turns light brown, add slit green chillies, ginger
add cabbage and fry until cabbage turns transparent
add chopped veggies, salt and add 6 cups of water
close the lid and let it boil, once water is boiled add vermicelli and mix well, cook until vermicelli is cooked (about 10 minutes on medium flame), turn off the stove and add chopped cilantro
yummy upma is ready which can be served with coconut chutney!!!!!
