in a blender add 1/2 cup cooked rice and 1/2 cup milk grind it coarsely
mix the rice mixter with remaining milk and sugar
add elachi powder and saffron strings, keep stirring every minute until the mixture becomes a porriage consistency (about 10 to 15 minutes)
once the mixture has reached the desired consistency, add elachi powder and few saffron strings then remove from heat. the yummy payasam is ready for serving!!! Enjoy!!!
